OYO Godolphin Arms Hotel

It is located a 15 minute walk east from the town centre. The ensuite rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and very good wifi. Early check-in was much appreciated from the super efficient reception as it was flipping boiling in the late summer Indian heatwave which engulfed the UK ! There was a pop-up van up the road into town serving Thai street food in the evening - highly recommended. Great location for people walking the south west coastal path. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment about it's quality.

Check in was quick and easy, even let us park car as we arrived before check in. If room had been ready we could have checked in straight away, it wasn't but it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for vegetarians. Room was large enough and bathroom had bath along with a shower over it. Ample wardrobe and drawer space. Beds made every day for us, and room clean and tidy. Staff friendly

The staff at the Godolphin were very friendly and very welcoming with my family. The location of the hotel is very good only a 15 min walk into town and very straightforward.

Breakfasts were lovely. No choice of where to sit which was disappointing as I was in an empty dining room on one occasion. Being told which table to sit at seemed a little odd, and no explanation was offered for this.
